Chocolate Stovetop Oatmeal
Oatmeal is always a good idea, especially when it comes to breakfast. This is my go to recipe for when I’m craving a big bowl of cozy chocolaty oats.
Serves 1
Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1/3 cup rolled oats
1 tbs chia seeds
1 tbs ground flaxseed
1 cup water
1/2 cup dairy free milk
1 tbs chocolate protein powder
Directions: Start by adding water into a small pan and bring to a low simmer. Add in oats, chia and flaxseed, stir. Bring to a boil and the reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5 minutes. remove from heat and stir in protein powder and milk. Pour into a bowl and top with banana, coconut yogurt, almond butter and a drizzle of honey.
